once upon a time...
i went on fall break. and it was amazing. mel, jessica, ben and i left last wednesday. we stopped at my house for the first night, had a great homemade meal and some cupcakes! and just relaxed. twas great. then we left the next day and drove up to ben's house. it was wonderful! we had so many good homemade meals!!! it was great! we went shopping, went to a movie, visited ben's old school and his church and his grandparents, watched t.v. and movies at night, introduced mel and jessica to the red green show haha. hmm...and we went to a couple of parks and we went to lake michigan! it was so relaxing and fun. it was nice for the four of us to be able to just hang out together with no time pressure or homework, but to just relax. good times. very good times! it was gorgeous up there too! there were so many trees changing colors! it was so pretty!
jen had to go home to connecticut for break, but she was with us in spirit
we visited the playground at ben's old school
we went to visit lake michigan at sunset. it was cold, but we had a blanket and lots of fun...probably one of my favorite memories of the trip, but there are so many good ones to choose from that i'm not sure.
and now we're going back home tonight. and taking jen with us in person this time! and my gma will be there. i'm excited...should be good times!
